Start with your priorities
Keep the work connected to the family’s priorities.
A family meeting, a new investment, or an upcoming commitment needs current information and clear responsibilities. We use your investment policy, cash needs, and family priorities to organize the agreed reviews, reports, and operating tasks.
Your family keeps the decisions and approval rights set out in the agreement. Your chosen banks, custodians, and advisers can remain in place.
Where we can help
Expertise across the portfolio and the office.
Choose the support you need for a portfolio review, a family meeting, recurring reporting, or day-to-day operations. Each service has a defined scope, an accountable lead, and work your team can review.
See where your portfolio is exposed.
See where holdings overlap, where risk is concentrated, and how cash needs compare with commitments. We review your approved portfolio records and give you a summary of the exposures and questions that need a closer look.
Know which investment opportunities need a closer look.
Receive a written assessment of the opportunities in your scope against your investment criteria and existing portfolio. It sets out the reasons to investigate further, the concerns, and the missing evidence, so your team can decide where to spend its time.
We maintain the agreed records, procedures, and task list, including decisions and relationship history you ask us to document. Your team can find the context, see who owns each task, and hand over work without starting again.
Receive a report covering the investments and commitments in your scope, prepared from approved records. It shows changes, source dates, missing information, and questions for your review.
You’ll know who handles each review, report, or operating task, and who to contact when something needs attention. We agree what each person is responsible for before we start.
Establishing the relationship
An agreed mandate. An accountable team.
We look at what your team is handling today, where it needs help, and what you want us to take over. You’ll know who is doing the work, what’s included, and what it costs before you commit.
The first six weeks
Establish the team and working foundation.
We agree the priorities, approved sources, access, and review points with your team. Then we test the first workflows using real work or approved past cases, document the procedures, and train the people who will use them.
Meet your operating lead and any investment specialists included in your scope
Agree a baseline for preparation time, corrections, and deadlines, then test the priority tasks

An operating lead and the investment specialists included in your scope
A weekly check-in on the work and a monthly report for the family
Agreed deadlines, documented handovers, and a named contact for problems
Fixed monthly feeGet in touch for pricing · paid monthly in advance · six-month service minimum
Fees agreed before we start. Your proposal includes a one-time setup fee and a fixed monthly fee, with a six-month service minimum. Monthly service starts after you accept the completed implementation. We confirm the workload, team, and included specialist and technology costs in writing. If you need us to take on more, we agree any extra cost with you first. Smaller needs receive a separate fixed quote. Your proposal spells out the work and people covered by that fee.
01
Start with the family’s priorities.
We discuss upcoming decisions, investment policy, cash commitments, and where your team needs help. Together we choose what improvement to measure.
02
Agree the responsibilities and price.
We put the responsibilities, people, deadlines, and fixed fee in a proposal. You can see what changes for your team before deciding.
03
Review the first completed work.
Your team checks the first outputs against the agreed standards. We review the sources, corrections, unresolved issues, and handover instructions before you accept implementation.
What remains with you
You stay in control of the decisions.
Your proposal names the investment and operating responsibilities included, who performs them, and who approves the work. We agree approved sources, access, tools, and retention before confidential information is shared.
Legal and tax advice remain with your appointed professionals. Regulated advice, discretion, custody, and money movement require the appropriate authorized arrangements.
Tell us which reports, reviews, or recurring tasks need attention. We’ll discuss what USG can handle, what stays with your team, and the scope and fee.
