USG Strategy and your engagement
USG Strategy is part of Unified State Group. Service descriptions on this website introduce the work available for discussion; they do not establish a client relationship or a mandate. Your written engagement identifies the legal entity providing the services, the assigned team, any separately engaged providers, and each party’s responsibilities.
A reference to Unified State Group, a team member’s experience, or a third-party institution does not mean that every group company or individual provides every service described. Past employment does not establish a current affiliation or endorsement by a former employer.
General information, not a personal recommendation
Website content is for general information. It does not take account of your complete financial circumstances, objectives, risk tolerance, or other requirements and is not a personalised recommendation to acquire, hold, or dispose of any investment. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy a security or investment product.
Do not make investment decisions solely on the basis of this website. Obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances from the professionals responsible for that advice.
Investment and operating responsibilities
USG’s service descriptions include investment analysis, review support, reporting, and operating work. The work delivered, the people responsible, and the decisions retained by you or your advisers are specified in the engagement.
For advisory-firm engagements, the hiring firm retains the client relationship, investment judgment, client advice, supervision, and final client-report approval unless a separate lawful arrangement expressly provides otherwise. For family-office engagements, decision and approval rights are set out in the agreement.
Regulated investment advice, discretionary investment management, securities transactions, custody, and money movement are not authorised by a website description or an enquiry. Any such activity requires the appropriate legal authority, provider, disclosures, and agreements before it begins. A service label or a client’s retention of final approval does not determine whether an activity is regulated.
This website makes no representation that USG Strategy holds a particular investment-adviser, broker-dealer, banking, or custody registration. Any regulatory status relevant to an engagement must be confirmed for the specific entity and service. Legal and tax advice remain with the appointed legal and tax professionals.
Information, analysis, and investment risk
Analysis and reporting depend on the records, assumptions, dates, and scope available for the assignment. Third-party records may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or inaccurate. Private-investment valuations may not represent an amount that could be realised in a sale. A review cannot identify every risk or replace the approvals and specialist work required for a transaction.
Investments can lose value, including the entire amount invested. Private investments may also involve limited liquidity, concentration, leverage, and incomplete information. Past performance does not guarantee future results. No investment return, funding outcome, acquisition, transaction completion, or cost saving is guaranteed.
Fees, timelines, and service commitments
Fees and scope are agreed in writing before work begins. A fixed fee covers the responsibilities and workload specified in the agreement; it does not mean unlimited work or that every specialist, provider, or technology cost is included. Additional work and outside costs follow the agreed approval process.
Implementation schedules depend on timely access to records, information, and approvals, as well as the agreed scope. Any commitment to complete implementation work without an additional professional fee applies only as described in the engagement. It is not an investment-performance guarantee or a promise of a particular business outcome.
Cost comparisons are planning aids. They should account for the people, systems, oversight, and providers you would still retain. Capacity gained does not automatically translate into a cash saving.
Providers, relationships, and conflicts
You may retain your existing banks, custodians, and advisers. Their services, charges, and responsibilities remain subject to their own agreements. References to them do not imply that USG controls their services or guarantees their performance.
Any referral compensation, ownership interest, provider incentive, or other material conflict relevant to the proposed work must be disclosed as applicable before you rely on the arrangement. Ask us to explain how any proposed provider relationship is structured and compensated.
Technology and confidential information
Technology may support record organisation, document preparation, reporting, and workflow management. Tool access, permitted information, review responsibilities, and client approvals are agreed for the assignment. Technology-assisted work still requires the checks and professional judgment appropriate to the task.
The public contact form is for enquiries, not investment instructions or confidential financial documents. Our Privacy Policy describes how website enquiries are handled.
